About the Role
Do you want to help shape the future of energy supply? In the autumn of 2026, we will once again launch our appreciated Nuclear Power Program at Ringhals - a unique opportunity for you who want to kickstart your career in nuclear power while contributing to a sustainable society.
During nine intensive and educational months, you will receive a combination of theoretical training and practical experience, while being employed in a specific group at Ringhals. The program includes everything from reactor physics and nuclear safety to operational understanding and networking – all to give you a solid foundation for your future role.
You will also have a mentor in your home group who supports you throughout the program and helps you integrate into both the workgroup and Ringhals as a whole. Through study visits and meetings with colleagues from different parts of the organization, you will gain a broad understanding of how everything is interconnected – while simultaneously building valuable relationships for the future.
The program starts on September 1, 2026, and your employment will begin a week or two before, by agreement with the recruiting manager.

Focus: Construction and Mechanical Design
Do you have an interest in construction or mechanical design? Perfect – then we have several exciting opportunities for you!
In this area, we offer positions where you will work closely with both colleagues and the facility – and have excellent opportunities to develop in a field where your contributions truly make a difference.
As an engineer with us, you will help develop, improve, and future-proof our facilities.
Construction Engineer (2 positions)
As a construction engineer at Ringhals, you will primarily work on developing technical solutions and construction drawings for our buildings – from idea to finished construction. The working methods vary depending on the task – from collaborating with the maintenance organization to produce documentation for maintaining existing buildings, to participating in projects to develop designs for new, renovation, and extension projects.
You likely have a university degree in civil engineering or a related field. However, the most important thing for us is your commitment and your ability to find technical solutions to practical challenges. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is required.
To thrive in the role, you need to enjoy being close to technology and have a practical mindset. You also need to be a team player, as all our work is done in collaboration with other groups and stakeholders.
Mechanical/Piping Engineer (1 position)
As a mechanical/piping engineer at Ringhals, you will primarily work on creating manufacturing and installation documentation to meet the facility's needs. The working methods vary depending on the task – from collaborating with the maintenance organization and workshop to develop designs for maintaining existing equipment, to participating in projects to implement improvements in our facilities.
You have a technically oriented post-secondary education. However, the most important thing for us is your commitment and your ability to find technical solutions to practical challenges. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is required.
To thrive in the role, you need to enjoy being close to technology and have a practical mindset. You also need to be a team player, as all our work is done in collaboration with other groups and stakeholders.
